Colour disc

A disc of many colours. It may not show on all devices. You can also download the colour disc image with named colours (PNG format, 8.5 MB).

This disc was going to form the basis of a colour poster, but it ended up looking too complex. The named colours are used in the colour mosaic instead, which is a simplified representation of the disc with named colours.

This is a disc of around 260 colours from #000 black to #fff white. It circles clockwise through red at the top, to yellow, green, cyan, blue and magenta. The most vivid colours are on the edges and greys are in the centre. The colours are also listed in the next section. This is the original colour disc that the colour mosaic was based on.
